We are currently recruiting for a Duty Social Worker to join a Learning Disabilities Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This community-based team works to support people with learning disabilities and their carers to be able to access all necessary resources. The team is driven to improve community inclusion for every service user to prevent isolation. This role is in place to solely complete the duty work within the team. Taking calls, incoming referrals and signposting them to the relevant team member is the main responsibility in this position.

About you

Experience within an LD specific team, community work or first response setting lends well to the type of work this team deals with. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience working in an Adult's Social Work setting are essential for this position.
