Job description

A Charity is looking for a Development Manager (Social Worker) for their Lancashire based Fostering service. This is a full-time, and permanent position.

The ideal Social Worker/Manager will have Fostering experience ideally within the private/third sector. This is a great chance to become an integral part of an exciting future as they aspiring to be "Outstanding" rated by Ofsted.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Development Manager:

  • Quality Assurance
  • Taking the lead on Audits, Policy Improvements & Policy Implementation
  • Contributing to Strategic Development
  • Contributing to Training
  • Reporting to the Registered Manager & Head of Service

Requirements for you as the Development Manager:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Management experience
  • Significant experience within Fostering
  • An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care and Fostering

Location: Blackburn

Salary Scale: £43,000 - £45,400 + OOH allowance + benefits
