Children's Social Worker

Knowsley Borough Council are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Child Protection Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with at least 2 years experience within Children's Services.

Requirements of you as the Children Protection Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work Qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
• A valid Social Work England registration.
• At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within Children's Services.
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is preferred.

Your responsibilities as the Children Protection Social Worker:

• Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people and their families in Knowsley.
• To carry out timely assessments on children, young people and families.
• Prepare care plans for children and young people.
