Job description

We are currently looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Locality Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team is responsible for dealing with CIN, CP and Court cases to protect the most vulnerable and in need of protection children in the area. Completing assessments in a timely manner, completing initial court proceedings and attending court when necessary is key to the success of this role. This team is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families with a child-centred approach.

About you

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a Children's Frontline Social Work team. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' experience is essential for this role. A valid UK driving licence and car is also essential for this position.
