Job description

We are currently looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Child Protection Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team is responsible for safeguarding children and young people throughout the borough going through children in need, child protection and court proceedings. Working proactively, with a child-centred approach to each case is vital to ensure successful case progression. Experience with PLO cases would be desirable but not essential.

About you

It is also essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years post qualified experience. You will be an enthusiastic and committed Social Worker with substantial working knowledge in a children's frontline setting. You will have knowledge of key legislation as you will be working in accordance with it.
