Children's Family Support Social Worker

A Local Authority in Bedfordshire is looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join their Family Support Team based in Bedford. This is a Locum Social Work role offering up to £40.00 per hour.

The ideal Social Worker will have extensive knowledge and experience of CIN, CP and PLO work. The key to success in this role is to be able to work confidently with little supervision from the beginning of the contract.

Your responsibilities as a Family Support Social Worker:

• Manage a complex caseload
• Undertake Safeguarding and PLO work
• Ensure records are kept up to date to the highest standards
• Aid in the formulation of care plans for children and families
• Work effectively with connected services to ensure the best out comes are met for children and families

Requirements of you as a Family Support Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Family Support and Child protection work
• A valid UK driving licence and car is essential for this role

Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire

Umbrella pay rate: up to £40.00 per hour
