Child Protection Chair - Quality Assurance

The London Borough of Newham is looking for a Child Protection Chair to join their Quality Assurance Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal CP Chair will have prior knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance work. The key to success in this role is to be able to go int a new contract confidently with little supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Child Protection Chair:

• To chair meetings in Safeguarding and Looked After Children
• Promote a high level of practice
• To provide professional advice on Child Protection issues
• Work with connected services to ensure the best outcomes are met for children and families

Requirements of you as a Child Protection Chair:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of CP Chair work

Location: Newham, London

Umbrella pay rate: £42.00 per hour
