Dear All

The situation surrounding COVID-19 is changing on a daily basis when it comes to government advice. This makes it difficult to provide a consistent action plan, but we will keep this updated at all time.

Our advice to all candidates is –

  • It is business as usual on the frontline. Please continue to attend your assignments and / or shifts. Please be in regular liaison with your line manager to follow their instructions in regards to COVID-19 management

  • Any candidate who falls into the vulnerable category – Over 70, Underlying Health Conditions, Pregnancy are required to follow government guidelines immediately and remove themselves from the work place, moving into a period of social distancing to avoid contracting the disease.

  • Should you be unwell with COVID-19 symptoms (persistent cough, fever, shortness of breath), then you are required to contact the agency immediately and remove yourself from your assignment. Follow the public health guidelines and move into self isolation, until such time as you are better, and a period of move than 14 days has occurred from symptoms disappearing.

  • If you are sharing a household with others displaying COVID-19 symptoms then you are required to self isolate for 14 days

  • As an agency worker you are entitled to Statutory Sick Pay should you be PAYE or Umbrella.

  • We must do our very best to support our vulnerable service users in this very difficult time.

Our advice to all clients is –

  • We are doing all we can to increase registration of key social workers, support workers and nurses. This is to support you at this unprecedented time should others not be able to cover core duties.

  • We have an active video interviewing service which can facilitate face to face interviews in the cloud. This will ensure you can hire vital frontline staff where needed on a permanent or contract basis

  • You will see in this notification, the information shared with our candidates. We have asked for full compliance with Public Health England recommendations.

  • Charles Hunter Associates has robust business continuity systems in place, including remote working. As such we will be business as usual and able to support all of your needs throughout this national crisis.

Charles Hunter Associates is monitoring information released from Public Health England and will continue to do so. We remain on hand to answer any questions or queries you have at any time.

Best Regards
