Job description

Waking Night Support worker - based in Lancashire at a children's residential home. You will be supporting children aged 8-18. We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join one of our clients team of Waking night support workers. As a waking night support worker you will be expected to support residents who have a background of trauma, neglect and abuse.

Requirements for you as the Waking Night Support Worker

  • Experience of working with children or young adults with vulnerable backgrounds
  • Understanding of challenging behaviours, triggers and how to deescalate
  • Experience of working within a residential setting
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (desirable but you will need to work towards this)
  • Ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team
