Therapeutic Practitioner

Do you experience of working with therapeutic frameworks within children's residential care? This is a non-residential role that gives you the opportunity to train staff therapeutically, whilst working flexibly? You must have:

• Previous experience, expertise and evidence of therapeutic training or qualifications, including those in progress. This could include PACE or similar models. CBT, play therapy, or psychotherapy
• Previous experience of working with children and young people that have experiences trauma, including both verbal and non-verbal individuals.
• At least two years direct experience working directly with children
• A strong understanding of Complex and Developmental Trauma.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering training to staff on therapeutic practices to foster a supportive environment for children and young people.
• Work effectively with various stakeholders to support the holistic development of the children and young people.
• Be prepared to travel for work up to four times per year.
