Team Manager- Fostering

Dorset Council are currently looking for a Team Manager on a Locum basis in their Fostering Team. This Social Work Team deals with the processes and long-term plans for children to be placed with qualified foster carers.

What are the requirements?

• 2 Years Post Qualifying experience.
• Social Work England (SWE) registration.
• Degree in social work.

What sets you apart from the crowd?

• Management experience.
• Knowledge of undertaking relevant assessments and plans (mainstream and connected carers)
• Confidence in ensuring that all allegations and standards of care issues are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Evidence of continual improvement and quality assurance in a previous role.
• Experience as a Supervising Social Worker or similar.
• Experience in undertaking home visits to foster carers.
