Teaching Assistant

We are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants for an immediate start.

You will be supporting within a SEN school located in the heart of Newbury, Berkshire.

The school has mixed gender students aged between 5-19 years with all having a hearing impairment and deafness. Students are educated following an ammended academic structure to include the use of images and lipreading. However, they do not use british sign language to communicate within the classroom.

The residential school has both a Primary and Secondary school site.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to have a positive outlook and provide educational support alongside the teacher within a classroom of up to 8 students.

School hours are between 08:30am-16:30pm Monday- Friday and term time only.
