Job description

I am looking to recruit Support Workers to work in a highly specialist residential and educational care service for young people who have suffered from trauma, attachment disorders or problematic lives including gangs, county lines or addiction.

This role offers candidates the chance to work directly with some of the UK's most vulnerable children, build their trust and confidence back up, prepare them to manage and deal with their emotions, help them build a road which will lead them to a positive life.

Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Residential Worker:

  • Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (desirable as full training provided)
  • Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
  • Display yourself as an appropriate role model
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
  • Encourage positive life experiences for the children
  • Strong experience building report
  • Strong experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate in a positive and open manner
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others
