Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Support Worker to join our friendly and close-knit team.

You will be supporting within a small childrens home based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The young people are aged between 8-18 years with ASD and SEMH needs including challenging behaviours.

As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide care, emotional support, supervision, encouraging communication, positive relationship building and promoting inclusion/independance.

Daily tasks include: Housekeeping duties, basic meal preparation, getting involved in activities and day trips, Homework etc.

Shifts: Waking Nights (21:00pm-07:30am) or Long days (07:30am-22:00pm)

Requirements for you as a Support Worker:

• Proactive and possitive attitude
• Previous social care experience or related qualification
• Car driver desired
• Ability to engage with the young people

Pay rate: £10.50-11.50 per hour + Holiday Pay.
