Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within social care? do you want a role which is rewarding with the flexibility to choose the days you work?

This Support Worker opportunity could be a new direction for your career, based just outside of Waterlooville, Hampshire. You will be supporting in a childrens residential home with a close-knit team to mimic a family atmosphere for stability.

The children within the homes have SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Some of the young people have also experienced trauma and challenges previously which have contributed to the complexity of their needs. You will be encouraging communication, building positive relationships, and providing emotional support.

Daily tasks include supporting with daily life skills, following children's routines, general housekeeping duties, basic meal preparation, engaging in indoor and outdoor activities, day trips and assisting with any homework-based tasks.

Shift options: Day shifts are 07.30am-22.00pm and Night shifts are 21.30pm-07.30am.

Requirements for you as a Support Worker:

  • Passionate and determined to help others.
  • Experience working in a social care or education environment with children or adults.
  • Able to reliably commute to the Denmead, Hampshire area near to Waterlooville.

Pay rate:- starting at £10.00- £14.69 + holiday pay.
