Residential Support Worker needed within a Children's Home

You must have Right to Work in the UK.

Bridgwater Location - Driver preffered due to rural location TA5

Residential Support Worker required to support our client in Bridgwater within a Children's Residential Home. Working with young people who have EBD ages from 10yrs - 17yrs.

About the role:

As a residential support worker you will be supporting young people within the home and out in the community, taking the young people out to the park, bowling, horseriding. You are required to support emotionally and get involed in day to day tasks within the home.

About you:

A successful candidate will have empathy, compassion, and resilience working with young people with mental health, EBD and sometimes challenging behaivours.

Pay starts from £11.44 per hour PAYE and £14.57 per hour Umbrella.

Sleep-in £50.00 per night

Requirements for you as a Residential Support Worker:

• Experience in Support Work working with Children / Young people.
• Confident in working independently and being proactive.
• Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills.
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service.

Shift Times for you as a Residential Support Worker:

• 8am - 11 pm
• 2 on 4 off Shift Pattern
• Some weekend work will be required
• Some sleep ins required
• Potential block bookings / temporary to permanent opportunities.
