Job description

Childrens Support worker - Required to support a SEN college based in Alton. You will be supporting children aged 2-25 within a specialist environment where learning takes places alongside therapy and care.

We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team of Childrens support workers. As a Childrens support worker you will be expected to support students who are physically disabled with complex needs, communication is key as well as a positive relationship building.

Hours for you as Childrens Support Worker:

  • This role is a waking night role, shifts will be 8.00pm - 7.00am.
  • Monday - Sunday based on availability.
  • TERM TIME ONLY

Requirements for you as the Childrens Support Worker:

  • High level of personal care involved (toileting, dressing, feeding), moving and handling required.
  • Daily tasks include meal preparation, following daily routines, individual care plans, medical support, sensory based activities.
  • Child + Adult DBS on updated service
  • Previous experience with children within the care sector
  • Positive and engaging attitude towards to role
  • Ability to inspire and support.
