Supervising Social Worker - PART-TIME

A small, but successful Independent Fostering Agency now in it's 3rd year are looking for a PART-TIME Supervising Social Worker for their Norfolk Service. As the Supervising Social Worker, you will be supporting and developing the skills of the foster carers. You will be based from home, however there is full use of an office, locally. This is a 3 day a week post, Wednesday to Friday and you will hold a small caseload of 4 families.

Your responsibilities as the Supervising Social Worker:

• Supervision of carers
• Contribution to Foster Carer & Social Worker training

Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• Significant experience of working with Looked after children
• Experience of working within Fostering
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Norfolk (carers based around Norwich and surrounds)

Salary: up to £37,000 FTE (pro rata circa £22,000 per annum)
