Supervising Social Worker - Fostering Support Team

A North London based Local Authority is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their Fostering Service.

This position focuses on supporting/supervising foster carers, connected carers and providing special guardianship support when required.

This position focuses on supporting/supervising foster carers, connected carers and providing special guardianship support when required. We're looking for a qualified social worker who has experience of statutory work with children, young people and their families and multicultural and diverse community.

You should have excellent assessment skills and a good understanding of Regulation 24 process and Special Guardianship. Previous experience of court work and the ongoing fostering assessment process is essential.

Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid registration with Social Work England
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: North London

Salary: up to £50,100 per annum
