Supervising Social Worker

An Independent Fostering Agency who has been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their team covering the Southampton and Portsmouth area. This position is a full-time and permanent position.

This position is HOME BASED, but there will be a requirement to attend their regional office in Hampshire 2-3 times per month.

You will be a qualified social worker, with a registration with SWE. The company's niche is that it promotes a "family-feel" culture to carers and staff, one that is supportive and kind. One that is focussed on solutions and improvement, not negativity. My client would like candidates' personality/values to reflect this culture.

You will be participating in all foster care reviews, provide and develop support and supervision, and assess and identify support and training needs of foster carers, using a positive and therapeutic approach.
