Supervising Social Worker

A local authority in Somerset area is looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their fostering team.

Please note that this is a Locum position.

Hybrid position, 2 days in the office.

Caseload covering Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury and Yeovil. With a maximum caseload of 12.

Responsibilities as a Supervising Social Worker:

• Supervising managing a caseload of foster carers
• Recruiting & Assessing prospective new carers
• Delivering training for Foster Carers

Requirements for you as a Supervising Social Worker:

• Valid Social Work England Registration
• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Dip SW/CQSW) with AYSE year completed
• A valid UK driver's license is preferable.
• Post qualification experience in Children's Social Work

Location: Somerset

Umbrella pay rate: up to £38 p/h
