Supervising Social Worker

A Local Authority in Lambeth is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their Fostering Team on a locum basis, offering a competitive pay rate of up to £38.50 per hour.

Responsibilities of you as a Supervising Social Worker:

• Be responsible for a manageable caseload, working with a dedicated team to improve the lives of the children in care
• Managing the recruitment, assessment and approval and continued support of Foster Carers.
• Supporting Foster carers in the delivery of their caring rol
• Supervising Foster carers in accordance with Fostering Regulations.
• Ensuring that children's care and development needs are met within placements by undertaking necessary placement management, planning and intervention.
• Hold a Social Work qualification & registered with social work England. Enhanced DBS. Experience in Children's services and foster care delivery. Be able to demonstrate good understanding of Fostering minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation, and safeguarding.

Requirements of you as a Supervising Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Fostering Experience
