Specialist Practitioner

Birmingham Children's Trust are looking for Specialist Practitioner for their Children in Care service based at Lifford House.

What's on Offer?

• Pay rate of £35 per hour (Umbrella)
• 35 hours per week/ 6 month contract
• One day working in the office per week
• Access to e-learning, Research in practice and Community Care Inform to enhance L&D offer for all interim workers

Roles and Responsibilities

• As a Specialist Practitioner in CIC, you would be responsible for supporting children with a plan of Adoption
• You will be supporting very young children who are subject of Placement Orders during family finding, matching to adopters, placement for adoption, support to adoptive family and then adoption hearings
• You would be required to demonstrate experience of working in a CIC Team and progressing care plans for children in care and Adoption.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration
• Clear enhanced DBS
• Social Work Qualification
• UK driving licence and access to a car

Pay rate: £35 per hour (umbrella)
