Social Worker - Safeguarding and Family Assessment Team

A re-shaped North East London based Local Authority is looking for a Social Worker to join their Safeguarding and Family AssessmentTeam. As the Social Worker, you will be undertaking assessments that are purposeful and if high quality.

This role is full-time, and permanent position.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:

• Attend meets/reviews regarding case planning
• Maintain and promote partnerships
• Facilitate the participation of parents, children & young people
• Promote customer care

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid HCPC registration
• Significant experience of working within Safeguarding and/or Family Support
• Experience of working in a Children and family's environment
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: East London (Walthamstow)

Salary: up to £43,815 per annum plus £3,000 annual retainer
