Social Worker - Referral & Assessments

The Liverpool City Council is looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join their Referral & Assessments Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a Referral & Assessments role. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently with little supervision.

Your responsibilities in the Referral and Assessment services:

• Completing single assessments
• Working closely with the MASH team
• Assessing children in need and child protection cases
• Work on short term, fast paced cases
• Complete S17 and S47 assessments

Requirements of you working in the Referral and Assessment Services:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of R+A work
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is preferred

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

Hours: 35 per week

Umbrella pay rate: £45.00 per hour
