Social Worker - Pre-Birth

An East London based Local Authority is looking for a Social Worker to join their Pre-Birth Team. As the Social Worker, you will be providing services to children and their families, to safeguard and promote their welfare. This role is a full-time, permanent position.

As the ideal Social Worker will have Safeguarding and Early Intervention experience. Whilst this is a busy team in a developing local authority, there are opportunities with great training and development programmes.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:

• Supervision assess and provide services to children and families in need
• Undertake practice which is analytical and reflective
• Working with Care Planning regulations 2010
• Contribute to the planning and development

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Experience of working within Early Intervention
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: East London

Salary: Up to £37,800
