Social Worker - NRPF Team

Birmingham Children's Trust are looking for a locum to join their No Recourse to Public Funds Team.

The ASTI & Safeguarding Teams work closely with NRPF; and will transfer cases to them following child protection enquiries, when a Child in Need Plan is recommended; or when the child no longer requires a Child Protection Plan but does need a Children in Need Plan.

Who Birmingham Children's Trust are looking for:

An experienced SWE-registered social worker with an approved qualification, you will be able to deal with children in need and at times of intense crisis. As such, you will have fantastic verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make clear, evidence-based decisions about the safety of children. With great organisational skills and willing to work flexibly, you will forge close relationships with partner agencies and have a good understanding of key legislation. Your experience of supporting vulnerable children and knowledge of working alongside statutory and voluntary agencies will prove invaluable, as will your resilient 'can do' attitude.

• Pay rate max £32.33 / 37 hours pw.
• 6 month placement ongoing
• Full induction and system training.
• Access to e-learning, Research in practice and Community Care Inform to enhance L&D offer for all interim workers.
• Mental Health and Emotional wellbeing support for all workers including interim.
• Minimum of one day in the office per week.
