Social Worker - Looked After Children

A Local Authority in Kingston is looking for a Social Worker to join in their Children Looked After Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a Children Looked After environment. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently without the need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Children Looked After Social Worker:

• Support children living with relatives, friends and foster families
• Attend and arrange LAC reviews for the child
• Responsible for ensuring their safety and support them towards independence
• Make regular visits and assessments

Requirements of you as a Children Looked After Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

• A valid Social Work England registration
• Full UK driving license
• Have competent knowledge of children's legislation

Location: Greater London, Kingston

Umbrella pay rate: £37.00 per hour
