Social Worker - Life Planning Team

An East London based Local Authority are looking for a Social Worker to join their Life Planning Team. As the Social Worker, you will provide person-centred social work intervention, enabling service users to be safe, optimise and maintain their independence and wellbeing. This role is a full-time, permanent position.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:

• Formulate and progress care plans
• Carry a caseload of the most complex cases including complex safeguarding enquiries
• Support the development of systemic practice
• Work closely with the Court Progression Manager

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Experience of working within disabled children Team
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: East London

Salary: Up to £41,000
