Job description
The Liverpool City Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their Learning Disabilities Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.
The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in Learning Disabilities environment. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently without the need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Learning Disabilities Social Worker:
- Supporting service users back into the community
- To create, review and update service user care plans and risk assessments
- Advocating for service users dependence where appropriate
- Work effectively with connected services to ensure the best outcomes are met
Requirements of you as a Learning Disabilities Social Worker:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A valid Social Work England registration
- Have competent knowledge and experience of CIN/ CP work
- A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is preferred
Hours per week: 35 per week
Location: Liverpool City Council
Umbrella pay rate: £30.00 per hour
