Social Worker - Fostering

A Local Authority in Cheshire is looking for a Social Worker to join their Connected Persons Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a Fostering environment. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently with little need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Fostering Social Worker:

• Undertake a range of assessments
• Supervision of Carers who are known to the child
• Liaise and negotiate with other professionals
• Attend Fostering Panel

Requirements of you as a Fostering Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of fostering work

Location: East Cheshire

Umbrella pay rate: £45.00 per hour
