Social Worker - Fostering

A highly regarded East London based Local Authority are looking for a Social Worker to join their Fostering Team on a permanent basis. As the Social Worker, you will be providing a responsive fostering service to children and their families.

The ideal Social Worker will have Fostering experience and whilst this is a busy team in a developing local authority, there is opportunities with great training and development programmes.

Your responsibilities as the Supervising Social Worker:

• Managing Complex Caseloads
• Recruit and Assess foster families
• Visit foster carers
• Undertake formal supervision and advice and support

Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid registration with Social Work England
• Experience of working within a fostering team, either in the private or public sector
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: East London

Salary: Up to £40,000 + £5,000 recruitment package payable in two instalments
