Social Worker - Corporate Parenting Service

A Northeast London Local Authority based in Walthamstow are looking for a Social Worker to join their Corporate Parenting Service. As the Social Worker, you will be working with Looked After Children to make a difference in their lives. This role is a full-time, and permanent position.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:

• Undertake social work assessments
• Completion of any relevant reports
• Maintain and promote partnership working with other agencies
• Facilitate the participation of parents, children & young people

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• Valid registration with Social Work England
• Significant experience of working within Children and Families Teams
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Northeast London (Walthamstow)

Salary: up to £43,815 per annum plus £3,000 annual retainer
