Job description

Sefton Council are looking for a Social Work Practitioner to join their Children's Schools and Families Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

Your responsibilities as a Children's Schools and Families Social Worker:

  • working across varied social work teams including child in need, child protection, children in care and children with disability.
  • Provide a purposeful, professional social work service within a multi-agency partnership
  • provide help, support, and deliver high-quality assessment of family situations
  • Supporting students safety and asking appropriate action to protect them when necessary

Requirements of you as a Children's Schools and Families Social Worker:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid Social Work England registration
  • Have competent knowledge and experience of CIN/ CP work
  • A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is preferred

Location: Sefton

Umbrella pay rate: £35.21
