Social Worker - Children in Care

London Borough of Newham is looking for a Social Worker to join their Children in Care Team.

This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a Children In Care Team.

The key to success in this role is to hold previous experience build lasting relationships with children and families.

Your responsibilities as a Children in Care Social Worker:

• Experience within Children in Care team
• Handling complex and long term cases
• Experience attending LAC reviews
• Ability to build long term trusting relationships with children and families
• Making regular visits whether that be 6 or 12 weekly

Requirements of you as a CIC Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of work within Children in Care
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is required

Location: Newham, London

Umbrella pay rate: £35.00
