Social Worker - Children and Families
Job description
A Local Authority is looking for a Social Worker to join their Childrens and Families team around the Essex region. As the Social Worker, you will be completing assessments and providing support plans. This is a FULL TIME, permanent position.
You will need to have a background within Social Work, ideally with knowledge and experience within adults with complex mental health needs in order to assess how they can best be supported. This Local Authority has extensive benefits and a great training and development programme.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:
- Provide support plans and reviews on a regular basis
- Provide Support and review adults with a Learning Disability
- Use a strengths-based approach
- Effective provision of aftercare services and the Care Programme Approach
Requirements of you as the Social Worker:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A valid registration with Social Work England
- Must have completed ASYE
- Significant experience of working within Adults
- Experience of working within a Mental Health Team
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Location: Essex
Salary: up to £38,000
