Social Worker - Adults Community Team

Liverpool City Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults Community Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Qualified Social Worker will need experience working in an Adult's Social Work environment. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to safeguard, support plan and promote the wellbeing of adults with care and support needs.

Your responsibilities as a Qualified Social Worker:

• Manage a complex and varied caseload with appropriate control and direction
• Review the function of the team and Adult Social Care in line with policy, procedures, guidance and legislation.
• Complete written reports, statements and representations to the judiciary at Court hearings and applications to the Court of Protection.
• Directly work with service users, carers and families in line with interagency safeguarding adults' policy and procedures

Requirements of you as a Qualified Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of community based work
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is preferred

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

Umbrella pay rate: £32.00 per hour
