Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding Team

North Yorkshire County Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in Safeguarding environment. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently with

Your responsibilities as a Safeguarding Social Worker:

• Deal with all safeguarding enquiries
• Responsible for the development and co-ordination of reablement plans
• Undertake assessments of people with physical disabilities and where necessary undertake assessments of needs with their carers
• Promote service user independence as and when appropriate
• Undertake assessment of need and safeguarding assessments with service users

Requirements of you as a Safeguarding Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Adults safeguarding
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is preferred for this role

Location: North Yorkshire

Umbrella pay rate: Up to £35.00 per hour
