Job description
We are looking for a Social Worker to join a 14+ team.
You will need a masters degree in Social Work and a minimum of 2 years' experience.
About the team
This team supports young people and adolescents who are looked after by the local authority, 16-17 year olds who are homeless, or care leavers up to the age of 25. You will also support Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC). Forming long-term relationships with the young people is essential in helping achieve what they want, focusing on the best interest of the children.
About you
You will need to have a Social Work degree and a minimum of 2 years' post qualifying experience to be considered for this position. Previous experience in Looked After Children, Leaving Care, Transitions, or UASC, would be ideal. Knowledge of Principles of the Children Act, Childcare legislation, guidance and national standards is essential.
