Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Learning Disabilities Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team specialises in undertaking assessments with people with learning disabilities to assess risk and capacity. Working with carers to recognise signs of harm, abuse and neglect is a key aspect for this role. When necessary, you will provide back up for the first contact service and advise all people making initial contact.

About you

The successful candidate will work in a strength-based manner and be well versed in MCA assessments. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' experience working in a learning disabilities, transitions or community team setting are all preferred for this position.
