Social Worker

Oldham Council are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Assessment and Intervention Team.

Requirements of you as the Assessment and Intervention Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work Qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
• A valid Social Work England registration.
• Have some experience in an Assessment and Intervention Team.
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is preferred.

Your responsibilities as the Assessment and Intervention Social Worker:

• Hold and effectively manage complex and varied caseloads.
• You will identify and assess levels of risk and need in often complex situations.
• You will be accountable for complex decision making in relation to caseloads ensuring professional judgement.
