Social Worker

Lancashire County Council are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their CIOC Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Qualified Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working a Looked After Children or CIC team environment. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently without the need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as a CIOC Social Worker:

• Work closely with children and young people up until they're 18
• Ensure that the child receives support and services with care, education and health
• Work alongside with their families and carers to ensure positive outcomes
• Complete permanency planning and support children and young people directly

Requirements of you as a CIOC Social Worker:

• 12+ month experience
• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Looked After Children work
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is preferred

Umbrella pay rate: £34.00 - £41.00 per hour
