Social Worker

The Role

A Local Authority is looking for a Social Worker to join their Adult Social Services around the Harrow area. As the social worker, you will be part of the Locality Team with experience of court work and managing a complex caseload while working with other professionals. This is for a full-time, permanent position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Working with all agencies in a multi-disciplinary way, to ensure the best coordination and efficient delivery of services.
• Operating within delegated budgets.
• Contributing to the learning of other staff and students.
• Provide a social work service to empower and connect the person to their community.
• Identify the needs and desired outcomes with people and carers giving choice and control over the services whilst promoting independence.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• A Recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW/CSS or equivalent).
• A valid registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience working with Vulnerable Adults.
• Experience of court work.
• Must hold a full UK Driving License and use of a vehicle.
