Social Worker

An Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their team at their Leominster Office, and a potential for a Home Working contract depending on the candidate and their location.
They are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Supervising Social Worker to join their inspirational and friendly team to develop and promote the fostering services. They are a family owned and managed agency, with a focus on offering high quality care to our foster parents and young people and a supportive working environment for our staff.

The ideal applicant will have experience in a Fostering team. This is an excellent time to join this organisation as they continue to grow successfully.

The role is Full-Time - Although they are open to a discussion on condensed hours, or a 4 day a week role for the right candidate

Your responsibilities as the Supervising Social Worker:

• To provide and deliver professional support and supervision to Foster Parents.
• To actively participate in the recruitment and training of prospective Foster Parents.
• To assist in the matching of suitable placements for Family Fostering Partners' approved Foster Parents.

Requirements of you as Supervising Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
• Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England

Salary scale - up to £38,886 d.o.e + Benefits
