A Local Authority in Hillingdon is looking for a Service Manager within Adults Social Work to join their Mental Health Team on a locum basis, offering a competitive pay rate of up to £400.00 per day.

Responsibilities of you as a Service Manager:

To ensure the effective delivery of the Approved Mental Health Practitioner Service for the Borough, in conjunction with CNWL.
To be the LBH lead, working in partnership with CNWL, to manage and oversee the performance and productivity of the Adult Mental Health Service teams and CAMHS, ensuring that any performance issues are addressed in a timely manner and in compliance with the Council's Human Resources policies.
To ensure all team members receive appropriate levels of communication to maintain engagement with the Council's overall vision, strategy and priorities.
To develop a workforce plan within the Mental Health Service, enabling recruitment and retention of high calibre staff and ensuring that employees develop the appropriate skills and knowledge to effectively fulfil their duties.

Requirements of you as a Service Manager:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid Social Work England registration
Experience in Mental Health
Approved Mental Health Professional Qualification
