Social Worker

A Community Interest Company that has a public sector ethos are looking for a Social Worker to join their Permanency Team based in South West London. This role is a full time, permanent position.

Ideally, you will have experience of working within a children's service. You will need to be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.

Your responsibilities Social Worker:

• Act as a corporate parent to the children and be the lead professional.
• Champion the views and wishes of children and young people so that they may be supported to reach their full potential.
• Work alongside other professionals, to ensure that a child and/or young person receives appropriate care, education and health services, and any other support needed to ensure their needs are appropriately met.
• Undertaking regular statutory visits
• Completing and updating assessments
• Care Planning

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid HCPC registration
• Significant experience of working within Children and Families
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: South West London

Salary: up to £40,000
