Job description

We are looking for a Social Worker to join the Age Assessment UASC Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 year post qualified experience.

About the team:

The UASC Team works to support Children and Young People who arrive in the UK within a parent or a guardian. The Children are often fleeing conflict or a dangerous situation.

An age assessment within a UASC Team is a process used to determine the age of an asylum-seeking child who arrives in the UK without documentation or whose age is in dispute. This assessment is crucial because it affects the type of support and services the child will receive.

About you:

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 year post qualifying needed to be considered for this role.

Previous work experience within a UASC Team is desirable and the candidate must have previous experience completing age assessments.

It is essential to have a UK Driver's License.
