My client is an exciting specialist therapeutic children's services provider who provide both fostering and residential children's homes to young people in Kent. With a clear child focused ethos and approach, your new employer is on track to becoming one of Kent's leading therapeutic children's home providers.
We are looking for a Senior Support Worker and will look at Support Workers in children's homes (6 months minimum) who want to step up with high chance of internal progression to Deputy and Manager.
The Senior Support Worker is a permanent full time role paying £34,500 starting salary on a 40 hour a week and 1 sleep per week contract based in the home in Otterden,Maidstone.
My client is open to interviewing experienced Residential Support Workers in children's homes who are looking to step up.
The successful candidate will have
- Experience in a Children's Home (min 6 months) as a Support Worker, Senior Support Worker or Team Leader
- Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare (or currently be completing)
- Driving License and Vehicle (due to the location of the home)
- Experience of working with challenging behaviours and high pressure incidents with young people
- Positive nature, resilience and empathy
