We are looking for Support workers to join our friendly and welcoming team here in Evesham. This is your chance to make a real difference to the lives of people with a learning disability and autism.

This service is a care home to seven adults with profound, multiple disabilities and is filled with lots of fun and laughter. We thrive on providing person-centred active support and encourage this throughout everything we do.

Their team supports them in a way that gives them as much choice and control over their lives as possible. Close attention is paid to ensure that their health, social and educational needs are met and they each have a positive behaviour support plan which is closely followed.

As a Support Worker the critria is a professional qualification in health, education or social care is preferred but is not essential. In addition, you will ideally have previous experience supporting individuals within a social care, education or health environment. We want you to be a compassionate and friendly individual, who shares our Values

What will you be doing?

The purpose of your role is to give the highest possible standards of support to individuals with a learning disability, autism, challenging behaviour and/or complex needs. Your responsibilities are varied and no two days are the same. As well as providing physical and emotional support you may be needed to help with household tasks and personal care as well as supporting individuals with healthcare needs, e.g. taking medication. You will support with sensory needs and help people to engage in everyday home, social and leisure interests, reaching goals like travelling or holidays and working positively with their families and friends. This is all according to their personal choice
