Job description

A Local Authority who have been rated "Outstanding" via Ofsted for there Children Social Care Services is looking for a Senior Practitioner for their Looked After Children Team in South East London. This is a full-time permanent position.

This Local Authority have a framework of having a positive impact of engagement with families, staff morals and motivation across the service. The ideal Senior Practitioner will have experience working with Looked After Children teams.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Practitioner:

  • Support young people to return home to their family and securing permanence
  • Work closely with our adoption and fostering teams
  • Work with a range of partners to secure the best possible outcomes for our looked after children

Requirements of you as a Senior Practitioner:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid Social Work England registration
  • Significant experience of working within Children and Families
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence



Location: South East London

Salary: up to £53,000
